Autumn has arrived, and so has our fabulous new collection. This season we continue to focus on what we excel at: beautiful fabrics, flattering cuts and statement, contemporary styles.

As you know, since day 1 we’ve featured ‘real women’ as our models. It’s something I’m particularly proud of, especially since many said it wouldn’t work and we’ve definitely proven otherwise! Our models have ranged from 5ft to 5ft 10, size UK 6 to UK 16, and this season we’ve welcomed 3 more beautiful ladies to the family: Evey, Bukky and Emma.

The 3 ladies are roughly the same dress size, but have very different shapes: Evey is long, Bukky is pear and Emma is hourglass, with a large bust. And what was wonderful was their joy – if not incredulity! – at just how well the pieces fit them, even tricky ones like trousers and dresses.

As always, each model’s measurements is included with the pieces they model so you can be confident in knowing which size works best. And if you choose to use our ‘Shop by Body Shape’ filter, you will automatically be presented with the pieces that will flatter your gorgeous shape.

I’m also thrilled to introduce Charli and Scotch & Soda to the family – both fantastic labels that I’ve been a personal fan of for some time. I adore Charli for their modern, urban approach to knitwear and jersey, offering cool cuts in the finest yarns including cashmere and alpaca. As to Scotch & Soda – well I was actually first introduced to the label whilst at university by an ex-boyfriend! He was a huge fan of their original menswear line, and when I discovered they did womenswear too I was a little bit too excited. All their pieces are rich in detail and have a unique edge, whilst equally being timeless wardrobe classics.

So what are my favourite pieces?

Well that’s a bit of a tricky question. Given I personally select every piece for the-Bias-Cut.com, it wouldn’t be available if I didn’t love it! But if I’m really pushed to choose, here are some of my favourites:

Discover the Leopard Pink Blouse

As you may know my favourite colour is pink (yes I’m a girly girl!), so naturally I adore our Leopard pink blouse. It is part of POM Amsterdam's first ever full clothing range, and is made from the smoothest cupro - a semi-synthetic fabric made from regenerated cellulose fibre, that breathes like cotton, and drapes beautifully and feels like silk on your skin.

To be honest, I can never resist any leopard print… our contrast sleeve Leopard Print Faux Fur coat is now my 3rd faux fur coat, and second in leopard print, but I just couldn’t resist it. It’s so soft, and I love how the wool sleeved add texture and make the coat less bulky, so it’s more slimming. The wrist zippers and jacquard star lining are also lovely touches.

I’m a bit of a sucker for stunning knitwear, so I’m a bit spoilt for choice with this collection. But in particular I adore the Ashlee Alpaca jumper (I have it in both ivory and grey) – aside from being amazing quality, I love the sleeve slits with contrasting trim details, and the open back. It’s the epitome of effortless luxury.

And I can’t get enough of the Soraya Merino Wool jumper – I pretty much bug eyed out when I saw it. It’s chic and unusual, and make such an easy, cool outfit when paired with jeans and trainers.

What’s great too is how soft all our knitwear is; I have very sensitive skin so I make sure everything feels wonderful to the skin.

Another favourite is the Lala embroidered blouse from Fabienne Chapot's new collection, that takes inspiration from the life of a 1920s Parisian artist. I love it in off-white as a funky alternative to the classic white blouse. The Oriental motif embroidery features elephants, monkeys, umbrellas and starbursts; but what really makes it are the golden elephant buttons on the collar and cuffs.

What’s also great is that it is longer at the back, so there are lots of styling options available, and because of the myriad of colours featured in the embroidery, it pairs beautifully with lots of shades. I particularly love picking up on the blue with our  Glittering Blue bag for day, or the Lana clutch in navy, nightshade and nickel for evening.

I’m also ‘hot’ for our chilli print by POM Amsterdam (geddit?!). It’s such a vibrant, fun print that adds attitude to any outfit. I can’t decide if I prefer it on the blouse (also in cupro), the scarf or a bag. I’m not usually into matching, but I may make the exception for this.

I’m so pleased cardigans have made a comeback. Personally, for me they never left as they're so cozy and practical, but they can have an association with being frumpy and dowdy. Fortunately they’ve had a refreshing update, now looking being slouchy and oversized. I love the Bee and the Bieke – both an Alpaca wool blend in ‘curry’. It’s an unusual shade, but it looks stunning on and actually suits lots of skintones. And of course, the leopard print Sari is a wardrobe must-have; being slightly shorter in length it goes well under a jacket.

A great cardigan alternative for the evening is the Vinny Velvet Kimono – it’s so glamourous, and it drapes beautifully over the body. But the real star is the stunningly intricate beadwork, that features a parrot on the back and continues along the flared sleeves. All it needs to be paired with is our Spaghetti strap tank top camisole, slim trousers and heels for a fabulous party look.

And finally, speaking of parties, I obviously cannot go without mentioning the Damaris dress. The Water Art print is truly breath taking, and thanks to the side split and the open back detail, it breaks it up so it doesn’t overpower the wearer. And for a slightly more subtle look, it is just as beautiful in black, featuring golden embroidery along the arms and the waist belt – its seductive yet sophisticated, perfect for any dressy occasion.
