Those of you who follow us on social media will know that we've been teasing my interview with Penelope Herbert, founder of The Style Podcast, for a couple of weeks now.

Two Wednesdays ago, I woke up bright and early to have a chat with Penelope. Based over in Fullarton, South Australia, she was thoroughly enjoyable to chat to, and it was great fun discussing style over 40, ageism within the Fashion Industry, and how I am determined to dispel it once and for all with The-Bias-Cut.com. Plus, as always, I didn't leave without offering some style tips and inspiration.

And I'm thrilled to announce that the interview is now live!

At just over 30 minutes long, I recommend listening to it whilst pottering around the house, chilling out with a cup of coffee, or whilst in transit. Or in smaller bites since it won't be going anywhere!

You can either listen to it here or head over to The Style Podcast website (and to read Penelope's thoughts on the interview).

I really hope you enjoy it and I look forward to hearing your thoughts in the comments section below!

Had a chance recently to catch up on the bias cut.com blog, news but also the tremendous podcast interview, which really was impressive. Jacynth, you came across firstly as very natural. I get a little weary of people who sometimes talk at you rather than to you. They don’t want to hear because they never listen! No such mistakes here. I thought you spoke with authority and passion and it was very refreshing (again) to be left with points to ponder in terms of what I feel about me in a fashion sense. Thank you

It was such a pleasure having a chat with you, Jacynth. Thank you for the privilege of sharing your story and your crusade. The Style Podcast really does benefit from being able to talk with people all over the world doing great things. I’m so impressed with your work and your focus; your Mum will be very proud. I look forward to having another hat some time. Warm greetings from the Antipodes :-) Penelope x
